In Season 4 (April - June 2023), the Community Pod will focus on enabling the success of MetricsDAO by enabling the participation, growth, and success of our community of on-chain data analysts.

This is the result of the Community Pod (fka Community Crew) Season 3 retro and Season 4 planning exercises. On this page you will find the overall guiding goal, the pillars to achieving it, and a notion database to understand and follow specific projects of the community pod.

Goal

Empower every Metrics Mind who is interested and committed to being a blockchain data analyst to participate, grow, and perform their best. Support the MetricsDAO Circular Economy by translating each analyst’s success into the success of the DAO and the community.

Four Pillars

1. Onboard

Objective: Flawless onboarding. This includes: the experience of someone brand new as they navigate our community, but also someone exploring a new way of being involved (e.g. from learner to analyst, analyst also becoming a reviewer, sometimes a community member becoming a contributor, etc.), and onboarding of new and existing community members to a new product like the Metrics App.

Contributors: Gab_riel, Sunslinger, artghost, mar1na

Priority projects: Discord onboarding flow; overall DAO onboarding resource (a visual map, goto collection of links); Metrics App onboarding (eg tutorials and community call(s)); Documentation improvement ongoing project.

2. Share knowledge

Objectives:

Contributors: mar1na, rplust, Sandesh, Sunslinger

Priority projects: Informal regular upskilling content (expansion packs to complement formal education). Path for experts to share knowledge. Community review of Good and Stellar submissions to help promising analysts grow. Dashboard Teardown series.

Wishlist projects:

3. Showcase

Objective: Consistently spotlight top work by community analysts, both as a benefit to the elite analyst (providing them a platform) and to the DAO (showcasing examples of excellent work a service requester would have access to when they become a partner).

Contributors: mrodin, mar1na, …

Priority projects: Dashboard Teardown from the above pillar overlaps with this (some dashboards will be really good). Metrics Minds Weekly blog series.

Wishlist projects: Consistently spotlight top work by networks.

KPIs:

4. Support

Objective: Answering questions and troubleshooting with community members in Discord. This is the “traditional” community support and moderation offering where community contributors focused in seasons 2-3. Maintain a high standard of community support as our community grows and more analysts use the newly released Metrics App. Out of all pillars this is the only “maintenance” style focus area.

Contributors: Sandesh, Gabriel, mar1na, Sunslinger, …

Priority projects: Maintain a high standard of support that has been the pre-season 4 standard in the MetricsDAO Discord. Everyone who reaches out in Discord receives help/resources/a referral to the appropriate channels and/or team members.

5. Overall Community Pod

In addition to the 4 pillars, Overall Community Pod has overarching goals:
